Default Moving Hell

our ward is going through moving hell right now.

Get a call Saturday night that a family has pulled up with a moving van and need help immediately. No warning.

At church today, informed that single sister needs move tomorrow (Monday night).

Move scheduled for Saturday, elder in the ward is not renting a truck, wants people to ask for trucks. Is not present in priesthood to ask himself.

The next Saturday there are two moves at the same time. At least these folks have done it right in asking for advance, and actually having vehicles. Of course, one of them is a dentist. You would expect he could pay for something on his own. But who knows.

You may say, Br. Waters, that is ridiculous, you should just not bother. Unfortunately it's more complicated than that. Single moms, poor people. Poor people have poor ways. That's why, in many cases, they are poor.

The person that is moving tomorrow, we have already moved 3 times. She keeps getting evicted in apartments in and around our ward (our Bishop allows her to stay in the ward).
