Archaea is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Life is cruel to old guys

Today reality sank in.

I have been running very poorly, feeling weak, but today it really sank how badly I'm doing.

We have a new young couple in our ward, who do triathlons. He does halfs and is a good cyclist. So I invited him on my long run. He ran right with me and I was not strong enough to blow him away.

He's twenty years my junior, but it was humiliating that I cannot blow somebody away. My running is really, really pathetic right now. I melted the other day doing 10 400ms at a measly 86 second pace.

Does anybody have research on strengthening running as mine has gone into the toilet right now.
