Default My chat today with a conservative elitist...

So I was helping a gentleman of about 55-60 find his way today, he was a little lost. This guy had the appearance of Captain Nemo... the beard, the regal bearing, deep voice.

He asked what I thought of the stock market, I told him I was glad to be in I.T. instead of Economics. Then he expounded on his own determination of things:

"You know, I predicted this. I told my son to get out of the stock market because it would crash right after the Olympics.

"I can't tell you how good it feels to be prepared... and to be right. I have several million dollars in precious metals, I'm prepared for the future."

He reminded me a little bit of Charleton Heston in The Omega Man. I thought "good for you, but don't forget the bullet proof glass for the Mercedes".
