One more year after this. It is protected to pick 22 I think this year, which would mean the Knicks would need to finish in the top 8-10 teams in order for them not to get it next year. And it sounds like the Knicks are sticking with their roster in hopes of clearing cap space for the summer of 2010 for a marque FA like Lebron, Wade, etc. If that is the case, they very well could suck and it could be a great pick for Utah.
Of course, the Knicks will win the lottery this year and the Jazz won't end up with a top 5 pick in 2010 like so many are hoping for.
