Levin is on a distinguished road
Default Biker Conversion

BRT:

I have a sedentary job.

I weigh thirty pounds more than I should.

I live a stone's throw from Rock Creek Park in DC, a biker's urban paradise.

I have always liked riding bikes.

I want to mix exercise and recreation.

Cycling is a family activity, right? (Wife can bike; pull toddlers in bike cart or whatever those things are called)

Invitation:

"Will you, Levin, buy a bike and use it?"

YES!

Good job, you've convinced me to start biking.

Now which bike should I get? I weigh 210, am 6' tall, and this bike will be used primarily on paved roads and trails. Want mid-line quality: not the Porsche, not the 1987 Datsun; I'm looking for the souped up Honda Accord EX V6.

Appreciate your advice.
