Took the new Brooks on a 5 miler today. I really liked them a lot. My first pair of running shoes about 4 years ago was a pair of Brooks, and I hated them. They felt like boats on my feet, and they were heavy. It's weird, but these Adrenalines feel very compact, if that makes sense, and the cushioning was good, though I don't know they're any better than most other shoes in the price range.

They did feel a bit lighter than what I have been running in, though. I have a "dead legs" phase at the start of every run, where it feels like I'm running in mud. It usually lasts about 2 miles or so before I loosen up. It didn't seem as long today, which I think may be due to the shoes being lighter. So overall, I'm happy. No signs of blistering anywhere and my arches felt very supported. I'll stick with these Brooks.
