The one movie that I wish I had never watched was Pulp Fiction. When the two rednecks pulled the gimp out of the box I experienced a feeling of revulsion I have rarely felt. Just the thought of keeping another human being in a small box only coming out for acts of depravity gave me a tremendous angst. That scene just got worse and worse for me. I know most consider the movie to have been excellent but it just disturbed me and I'm not easily disturbed. I can't recall any other movie making me wish I had a delete button for my brain.
The only other movie that came close was Jodie Foster's "The Accused". That scene was just too real for me to handle. Last edited by SteelBlue; 04-08-2007 at 07:46 AM. |
