Chad Gerlach on Intervention
Saw this episode last night with the wife. Pretty sobering story of a kid who spent his time in juvenile detention after being convicted of 6 counts of arson and then spending additional time for bad behavior to the discovery of cycling and success which took him to the USPS team only to be fired and then fired from 4 more teams before living on the streets of Sacramento as a crack addict.
Amazing that someone could be right up there with the best and to fall so low. He accepted treatment though, has been sober for 4 months and is looking to attend college in the fall and just bought himself a race bike.
