Is today's big story
Obama mortally wounds Clinton?
Intrade is going crazy for Obama, signaling him the clear front runner in the dem race and a frontrunner overall even though his race is tighter than McCain's.

He is going to wound her, yes. Mortally? I don't know, because there are no winner-take-all states for the Dems. So unless Obama just kills her in a lot of states the delegates will be fairly evenly divided.

Wow I thought that Obama might surprise today, but I didn't expect that kind of reaction this soon. Does intrade have exit poll data from a bunch of states?

If so, I won't cry at all. I would be very happy to rid of her and her husband.
I bet McCain is licking his chops over Obama. Radical Islamic Extremism, Radical Islamic Extremism, Radical Islamic Extremism. Keep repeating that.

If he becomes the clear front runner then it definately is today's big story. If he wins the nomination then I believe he will win the election.

I'm sure Obama is licking his chops too though. Can you imagine the contrast in appearance during a debate? An old geezer vs. Obama? I also think a lot of conservatives will sit the election out if it's Obama v. McCain, as opposed to Billary. |

The polls show he'd do better against Hillary. I imagine it's because Hillary can't say that she's been right about Iraq since the beginning and Obama can.

As for the war, McCain will make Obama look like a novice. It will not be pretty. People will be struck by how unprepared Obama will look and will not want him as Commander and Chief. Of course, this is my opinion.

maybe i'm misreading your comment, but something tells me that mccain won't say that obama is a radical islamic extremist. don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that tactic would backfire.
