My wife read thru them fast because she said that it was an easy read. But she had a bunch of issues with it. The first one she liked quite a bit but she said that the storyline and quality seemed to suffer with each book and the main character, to her, became a little annoying and borderline intolerable.

I don't know anything about the story of the books but my MiL was quite annoyed that one of the books had "questionable" material in it. She's very conservative when it comes to anything remotely sexual and in my opinion overreacts about it. She said she's thought of writing an angry letter to the author. I would bet there are other conservative folks out there, like her, that don't like anything "questionable" being written by a BYU grad as she should stand for something. I don't think there is anything wrong with the books but I won't be reading them to find out. They are girl books after all.
