Democrats taxing health benefits
Doesn't that make health benefits *more* expensive?
No doubt this is a ploy to try and drive individuals and businesses into the "cheaper" public option, which will reimburse at a ridiculously low rate. Primary care docs and non-hospital specialists will refuse to take the public insurance, and there will be a hue and cry, and a law will be passed that it is illegal to refuse the public insurance. And then we will be in a big, big mess. We will have only nationalized healthcare, with doctors working as indentured governmental servants, and the lawyers will skim the cream right off the top with million dollar lawsuits left and right against doctors and hospitals. |

Yes, it makes health care more expensive. It also proves Obama a liar when he said that 95% of Americans will have their taxes lowered.
