I haven't read the funny pages in years, but I remember liking Calvin and Hobbes, Blondie and Beetle Bailey.

What was the name of that comic with the fat girl who was completely incompetent? That was a depressing strip.

The death of Calvin and Hobbes and Far Side at roughly the same time signaled the end of my comic strip reading.

You guys hit the big ones but Doonesbury, Bloom County, and Beetle Bailey have their moments, too.

I was going to say Cathy as a joke, but I see Y already claimed it.

back when these and Bloom County were going--that was the heyday of comics during our generation.

Dilbert is nowhere near in the same ballpark.
