I don't find him funny at all. He's like a poor man's Al Franken - who is only funny when he is not spouting politics.

I like Al Franken. I hate Bill Maher--there's not a more annoying man on the planet and I honestly have never found anything he says funny.

I used to watch his HBO show pretty regularly, but not anymore. The funny moments are just too few and far between.

And Bill Maher honestly believes that cholesterol and blood pressure medicines kill people, too -- that they're a big conspiracy by the pharmaceutical companies and that you'll live longer if you stay away from "western medicine."

And he calls religious people crazy....

Listening to Maher is like listening to Rush and Hannity. All of it is unbelievably biased nonsense.

Do you guys remember when he got into a small tiff with Larry King when Larry said that Pres Hinckley was a great man? Something to that effect? Basically, Larry paid GBH a nice compliment (not in the context of his being a religious leader, but simply regarding his qualities as a human being). Bill responded fairly dismissively. You could instantly sense that Larry was offended a bit.
