Default The part I heard wasn't even close

McCain was annihilating Obama. Obama was defensive, halting, interrupting, reacting. McCain was running the show, driving the talking pionts, a lot smoother and seemingly knowdedgeable, even a bit condescending. His rhetoric doesn't soar in speeches, but he's good at this seat of the pants stuff, and you can see he could do this foreign policy debate in his sleep.

Maybe the parts I missed were different. But what I heard was the most one sided debate I've ever heard. I started to feel sorry for Obama. Seriously, he seems like a decent fellow. Maybe he'll do better next time.

I don't think it was a knockout, but IMO McCain was better. I think he won my vote tonight.

I fully expected him to. It was a foreign policy debate. I don't know why so many underestimated McCain. But that just makes it all the better for him: not only did he win, he gets to play the part of Bois-, er, Oregon State. Makes for even better headlines.

SU, I caught only the last part of the debate and had the exact same reaction. It wasn't even close. The first part must have gone completely different because all of the polls I'm seeing on news sites are showing that undecided voters felt Obama won.

Hey, I said I didn't hear it all. The part I heard was about foreign policy. All I can do is report what I heard.

I guess I should have checked with CaliCoug and CNN for a balanced assessment.
