He spoke at my graduation from the U in 2004. He was dryer than Catherine's turkey in the film Christmas Vacation.

No way.
Mitt was on Fox last night looking very Vpresidential, and giving all the usual Vpresidential lines. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,406943,00.html McCain desperately needs to boost his social/religious conservative credibility, and Lieberman/Ridge are not the way to do it. |

Tom Ridge is responsible for moving TSA into the DHS. What an asshole. TSA has ruined air travel.

Maybe he'd be trying to bring Penn into the Repub column, all the while losing states in the south where the base stays home.

Some guy from Time Magazine was on CNN this morning and his opinion was that it's going to be Romney.
Same with some other conservative guy on the radio this afternoon. I don't care who he picks, cause he's not winning. Even though some are starting to see through the Obama hyperbole, it's probably too late.

http://www.reuters.com/article/polit...080820?sp=true If McCain wants to confirm to voters that he'd do a better job with the economy, he should choose Romney for his VP. And that Romney is now pro-life, will be a benefit as well. The evangelists hate that Romney is a Mormon, but because he now is against abortion will give them reason to think he may not be as evil as they once thought he was. That could excite what has now become the unfortunate base of the GOP.
