Went to Wilco at Red Butte Gardens Last Night
Jeff Tweedy and the guys put on a good show. Really enjoy Glenn Kotche on drums. The opening band, Fleet Foxes, were a up and coming folk band that I found very good. The new stage at RBG is very good and I enjoy the venue.

Hadn't heard them before. Lots of homage paid to the Everly Brothers and the Kingston Trio. In other words, I like it.

I went to Jack Johnson last night. Took a friend for her birthday. I'm not much of a fan and Jack Johnson is VERY boring live, but it was for her birthday and she had a good time.
Usana Amphitheater getting in and getting out is a complete nightmare. Also I couldn't believe how many people they can pack onto the lawn area there.

We went and saw Brian Regan at the Thanksgiving Point amphitheater last week and it was a nightmare, too. Traffic for the Highland/Alpine exit was backed up at least a mile and a half. |

I hear they're really down-to-earth. A friend of mine wanted to buy a guitar for her husband, so she e-mailed one of the band members (probably a guitarist) out of the blue and asked for advice. They now correspond fairly regularly and the band member leaves them tickets and backstage passes in Philadelphia every time they play there.
