Weird Mormon Painting/Photography business
Saw this over on CB. I don't have a really high tolerance for Mormon-commerce, but I think as it concerns paintings it's higher than most here.
All the same, this is some weird stuff. What's next? Pictures with Jesus at the local mall, ala Santa Claus? http://www.kaypaintings.com/

Yeah, that is about as weird as I've seen. I think her Jesus looks like John Stamos.

Those serve as yet another painful reminder that no religion or culture, to my knowledge, is exempt from kitsch and cheap sentiment. But if we're going to visit that cultural subpart, and I delight in doing so, I still like the Jesus sports figurines, although John Stamos doing the Footprints in the Sand is closing fast, particularly with BYU71's sage commentary on that story.

This reminds of an old joke, which could be modified to apply here. Something about everybody gets tired of never being able to tackle Him.
