The movie or the real-life story?

It doesn't sound very interesting.
Not intending to offend, but why would I want to watch a bunch of gay cowboys making out?
I could go to Wyoming if I wanted to watch men laying the wool on some sheep or each other. Sometimes artsy fartsy movies are interesting, sometimes they are a complete waste of time. If kissing's involved, it should be one that's a chick flick. If not, I'll pass.

my parents went to the show in the movie theaters and i remember my parents talking about this shocking scene with other parents. so naturally i had to see the show. a couple of months later i see an advertisement for it on starz, mark the day down in my mind and stay up late one friday to watch the crying game with its wickedly shocking surprise..... well if i would have known the surprise was a dudes junk i would have passed... i still laugh thinking about that experience and this be a testament to avoid porn, i still can conjure up the image of the dudes package in my mind....wowzers what a shocker... |

The only reason I would see the movie is because of Jake Gyllenhaal. He's one of my favorite actors. He was great in Moonlight Mile and also in Donnie Darko. Donnie Darko is one of those movies that is really wierd and after you see it you think it is stupid, but for some reason you can't stop thinking about it and then you eventually go watch it again.
BTW, I should add that I in no way have a man crush on Jake Gyllenhaal. I do not find his boyish charm or his haunting sad eyes appealing in a sexual way. I'm no bronc buster. I simply appreciate his craft. |
