Any of you a Mason?
I was considering joining the Masons, just to check it out. Sounds like me like it's all about brotherhood, networking, and opening doors for opportunities. Are any of you a part of a lodge? Or do you consider them to be a "secret society"?

Laying bricks is too hard of physical work for me.

The Masons are totally passe. You're a couple hundred hears late to the party. The Masons are nearly extinct, and everyone now realizes their pretense at ancient entecedents is all phony. I think a lot of their temples have been turned into condo develpments or torn down.
Moreover, I think joining the Masons should be grounds for excomunication from the Mormon Church, because temple rites have preempted the field.

I wasn't being sentimental. I just think people should come to me for advice like this.

You're wrong. The grand master mason in Utah is Glen Cook, a high councilman and active LDS member.
