Two races this weekend
On Friday night I ran in the Main Street Mile. A two laps around the block in downtown Boise. I was curious how fast I could run a single mile. Apparently the answer is 6:05. Running a mile in an all-out sprint is really hard.
Saturday morning I did a local neighborhood 10k. 44:48. Three minutes better than last week's. Being in the 40-44 age group kind of sucks. In most of the races I've done, I would have placed better if I was a couple of years younger. |

Nice 10k time. That mile race sounds fun as well.

It was a lot of fun. In longer races the gun goes off and you run off away from the crowd. It that race you had a lot of people in a small area downtown. You could feel the energy through the whole race.
